Homemade Crepe

My hubby is actually sweet tooth and he was craving something sweet. And I found he was eating Nutella… So I decided to make crepes for him 😀

  • All Purpose Flour – 2 cups
  • Egg – 3
  • Melted Butter – 1/4 cup
  • Sugar – 3 tablespoon
  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Nutella
  • Strawberry
  • Blueberry
  • Banana

First, microwave butter for 20 seconds to let it melt. And mix it with all purpose flour, 3 eggs, and sugar. Add 1.5 cup of milk and stir to make it consistent thickness, and add another 1.5 cu till mixture is smooth and very liquidly.

Let’s make crepe wraps, heat a pan with medium heat and pour 1/3 cup of the mixture in the center. Swirl the pan gently, make sure it gets even thickness. It takes about 30 seconds to cook one side. If the surface is light brown, flip it and cook 30 more seconds.  Then move to a flat plate and let it cool down.

Spread Nutella on a wrap and place banana, strawberry and blue berry on top. Then fold it half and half again. My hubby made whipped cream and  to mix it with strawberry jam. This is really good! It’s easy and tasty! Filing can be anything 🙂 If you like more savory taste, mix tuna can and arugula with mayonnaise and black pepper. Making crepes made my day!

  1. I make very simple crepes, well, type I diabetics need carbs, but they cannot be fast acting and spiking sugars. Mine don’t have any sugar, but we use a lot of berries and apples here and there.
    It looks great and it must be delicious, such a wonderful plate full of sweet crepes.
    Your photos are very elegant and they increase the feeling of something being delicious!

    1. Hi Annika, I think a not stick pan makes it easier for sure, I didn’t use oil at all. If you use a cast iron pan, I guess certain amount of oil or butter needed. But your blue pan looks like non stick? If buffalo eye eggs don’t stick on your pan without adding oil, perhaps you can use the pan. Let us know!
